THE MOST COMMON MISTAKE
Art hung too high. 145 cm is roughly standing eye level, and it keeps the piece in conversation with the furniture instead of drifting toward the ceiling. Scale matters as much as height: art should span about two-thirds of the furniture beneath it, so one large piece almost always beats three polite ones.
GALLERY WALLS WITHOUT THE MESS
Lay the whole arrangement on the floor first and photograph it. Keep the gaps identical (5–7 cm), put the largest piece low and to one side rather than dead centre, and unify the frames — same colour or same profile width — so a mixed collection reads as intentional.
