SMALL APARTMENT LAYOUT IDEAS FOR A 90 M² HOME

Draw circulation before furniture: 80 cm between pieces, 90 cm for a main route, 60 cm between sofa and coffee table. Then use fewer, larger, built-in pieces.
CIRCULATION FIRST
Get those three clearances right and a small flat feels generous even with large furniture. Get them wrong and no amount of light-coloured paint rescues it. Mark the routes on the floor with tape before you order anything.
BUILT-IN BEATS BOUGHT-IN
Remove anything that serves one purpose only. Joinery earns more than furniture here: wardrobes to the ceiling, a bed with storage, a window bench that is both seating and boxes, one wall carrying the TV, books and lighting instead of three separate pieces. Small flats fail from too many small things, not from tight square metres — keep the floor visible, push storage upward, and let one large piece be the hero in each room.
